71-73 Mustang high backs is what I have. They are very close to the Maverick seat - just need the correct tracks.
I got some mid 60s mustang seats I'm in the process of installing. I'm switching from a bench seat, so I just used the mustang tracks on the inside rails and put the mav bench seat rails back in the outside slots. I'm punching the holes in the floor for the mustang tracks since I have to punch them already, I just spread them out. Only problem is getting under the car to put the nuts on the inside bolts. And I'd suggest measuring them out, not setting the seats in and marking with a marker, but me being impatient, made the holes about a half inch off, and will have to patch the extra hole up later. Other than that, not a hard swap. Plus you can't beat free.
Hey Eric ,I have a set of 1972 High Backs out of a mustang I plan on installing in spring. What seat track setup did you use. any modifications? Kirk
I have a pair of bucket seats out of a mid-80s Bronco II. does anyone know if they will fit in my 75 Mav 4 door? Thank Y'all Texasjack
I have a set out of an 80's mustang. They don't come close to fitting but since the drivers seat is electric, I'll make them work. a few inches of C channel at each mounting point some shims and just make them fit? I hope heheh
Kirk, I just used the regular Maverick tracks and all the spacers. My car originally had a bench. Seemed to fit real nice when I put it all together to drill the holes for the inner rails. I have them out of the car at the moment or I would take a picture. I may have to tweak the spacers a little because I'm using a thicker pad and carpet set up than the factory put in. But the basic Maverick bucket tracks fit the Mustang seats great.
