I bought a voltage regulator for my car thinking that it was bad, but apparently it was just something with the wiring on my new alternator. But it only cost $11, so do you guys think it's worth having a new one? Could it improve the way the car performs or idles?

You might not be able to return it, most auto parts stores dont return electrical parts.

Keep it. Even if you don't need it now, you might need it in the future. At least you will have it on hand when the time comes.

lol, well I haven't installed it yet, it's still sitting in the box with the reciept, do you think that it could would help anything just to install it now?

Also what should I do next to my ignition system? I've just replaced the alternator, spark plugs, and about to replace the voltage regulator.

Add, cap, rotor, and plug wires. Maybe a new Alt belt. Russ
