Antenna removal???

    Can someone help, I have no idea how to get this thing off with out cutting the wire...

    You have to pull the wire out of the radio, and out of the car, and remove it with the antenna.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    take off the phillips screws holding the antenna base to the fender.Then do as Dave said.. or just cut the cable if you dont intend to re-use the antenna.

    Thanks, it was fairly easy once i realized (thanks Dave) the cable didn't de-attach from the actual antenna. I am just starting to get into my build and i suspect i will have lots of questions, is this the right forum to post my questions? and should start new threads or just keep the questions going on the same thread?

    I would start a new thread everytime you have a question on a different issue.
    If you have more questions on the same issue, just add it in that post.
