dont think the links working but you should be able to walk into just about any parts store and get what you need. theyll probably have to order them. goot idea to get the replacment springs and clips while your at it. makes life easier
yup, any parts store can get them. my local Advance keeps them in stock for $14.99, along with the hardware (spring) kit for $8.99 and wheels cylinders for $9.99 each. when i do a brake job on these, i just replace everything for good measures and because it's so cheap
I must be a money miser. I would replace only what is needed. I go by the saying,If it ain't broke don't replace it.
The way I look at it, as many miles a year that these cars will be getting ( Not that many for most), replace it all and you'll probably never have to do it again
I never changed drum brakes before... is it as easy as changing pads on disc brakes? and do I just need the drums, the spring and the wheel cylinders? that's it? thanks for all your answers!
If you dont have them allready, get the proper tools or you wil go nuts doing em without.Get a hold down spring tool and a "brake wrench" it is for removeing and installing the springs the attach to the shoes.Wear Goggles!!!!!! those springs really fly if your not carefull.good luck
