Hi all, been busy putting the motor in, it is beautiful!! Now to the outside and then interior. I am needing bumpers...to rechrome or buy is blowing my mind! I have been trying to decide on what color for the outside too...red, black, silver, or keep the yellow.
Well, we knew it would take time to make it happen. In no hurry.

if you are not sure about the body stile,(like my 74) then go with the black... its simple and looks good.. idk if you will be able to find good bumpers so you might want to recrome them

Rechrome is 4 month wait and 375 each. Probably look best. Company in CA will do composite bumper this time next year for half that price.
But it would not be right to do the car like that....
Bought a new 71 MAV when I grad high school, it was red with reflective side stripe....Was a legend around here in that car, family likes the silvr with black details. but want that reaaaal red I think...
    thanks

Good bumpers are a tough part to find for these cars.
You find them for sale a lot, but they are going to be high, and still need chrome on top of that!
