well, sort of.... Whoever would've guessed that a slightly low tire was good for someting? Hopefully in about 1-2 years the jack won't be neccesary.
yup, steel tubs too, she used to race in the mid to late 70's I believe. I heard it used to run a 9.89 with a built Boss 302. Thanks, gotta love that nostalgia look.
if you get the chance, can you post some pics of the limiter.....I have seen it done a few different ways.
I like your way of thinking 1970! Best of luck to ya. Save those PENNIES! Your not alone. NOTHING looks looks better than a Mav standing tall. Thats what she said That car looks very familiar. Was it ever set-up for a BBC, pardon the thought? Did you buy it from a guy in Saline? If so that is one of Dyno Dons cars!!! The guy I mentioned ran one with his 2 sons at milan often and they had a Boss 302 it came with before they switched. This was in the mid to late 80's. If I remember correctly. It was about that color. Sure would be COOOOOOOL if so. ALL HAIL DYNO! Regards. Al
Nope, this one was setup for an SBF, the shock towers havent moved since 1970. Here are some pics of the Travel limiter, John. From above the tire, could barely poke the camera through there. Lying under the driver's side. Now from the passenger's side.
