While merging onto south bound I275 from I96 I saw a copper '77 4 door Maverick in my side view mirror. I had to bouble check, I thought I had Maverickitis! Sure enough, from what I could see it was in very good condition. I tryed to slow some to get a better look but he faded away in very heavy traffic. I wonder just how many Mavericks and Comet are out there waiting to be rediscovered. Would this car be one of our members cars?

Hey GrabberJoe, if you ever see a white pro street Maverick with blue side and hood graphics, that's the guy I bought my Maverick from, looks just like mine but with a slightly bigger scoop and a grabber spoiler. He lives in Westland too.

I live in Wichita and I far as I know (not much) I am the only on this site in Wichita. But I have seen at least three other Mav's here riding around and one for sale.

I seen one on the way to tunica it was yellow sitting next to a fence on the edge of a field. It didn't look bad, but it needed oork from what I saw, but all I saw was from the road. But random sightings around conway are nicer. no mavs, but I take a career center bus to conway every morning for an auto body class, and just about every other day theres a restored 20-something model T sitting outside Mcdonalds, and a yellow one parked close to toadsuck square. I've also seen a 53 Cadillac once, a daily driver 56 ford pickup is parked there every day, and I saw a restored 65 mustang once. My friend said there's 2 comets in decent shape in a junk yard not too far from here, I'll have to go check that out.

Earlier this year, I saw a blue Mav at one of dad's friends party he calls the Gearhead Get together It had a 94' 5.0 in it. I found a nice picture of it at a local car cruise.

I love that blue Maverick! That is a great picture. It should be framed and hung on a wall!
