Well my Exploder was getting a few miles on it so I decided to get rid of it before it cost me to repair it so I ran across a good deal on a used 2008 Explorer Sport Trac and fell in love with it, its a awd 4.0 6 liter not a power house and doesnt get great gas mileage but it will pull my trailer with race Mav on it.

Explorers are great trucks. I have a 96 Sport 2 door with 210,000 and it is still running strong and uses no oil. It will need a clutch and some suspension work soon though. If you take care of a 4.0 it will last forever.

Well its really not rated that way as it has Explorer running gear under it with independent rear suspension and the bed is only 4 feet long, so I guess to summarize it I would call it a 3/8 ton.

Why do they make you nervous? They are one of Ford's oldest engines and have been pretty much perfected ... and they like to be supercharged ... :yup:
