    HELP!!!!
I have tried every damn oil known to man and CANNOT get it to release. Plus the door is shut as well.Pulled the door panel loose and checked inside and lubed the crap out of everything. Everything appears just like the pass side with no damage visible.Been soaking 2 weeks now. Key fits in the lock but wont turn. I lubed inside the key tumbler as well.
This thing is kicking my AZZ!
    I'm stumped!!???

If you have the door panel off,you should be able to grab a hold of the lock lever on the latch and un-lock it.Or at the very least over ride it and pop the door open.If the latch is trashed and wont cooperate you could break it up to pop the door and buy a new one or get a used replacement from some charitable fellow on the board.OR you could pop the rear panel off and burn the striker plate screws out of the nut plate on the pillar and open the door with the striker attached to it.

Don't worry so much about the linkage, see if you can get the latch to move, it clamps over the pin on the "b" pillar, I've had a few stick over the years, they can get rusty, and the 2 parts that move get tight.

Its the lock mechanisim that is holding things up. Maybe I can disconnect the lock tumbler from the mech, and turn it manually to get the latch to release.

you should be able to disconect the rod from the lock mechinisim. there is a clip on the mechinism that you should be able to flip up and pull the rod out.
