73 Mav trunk bracket I'm heading out today to find a missing part for my daughter's almost done car.The truck lid has no bracket at all for the latch. Anyone know what years/models I can look for this part, besides the obvious 73 Mav? We're lacking only that latch, new tires, and the wiper switch, which has been found, just not off the donor car yet. Daughter's getting impatient, it's been a year, and now the thing runs great, just can't drive it yet. Rhonda
The latch should be the same from 70 to 77 Mavericks Both the trunk lid part and the Body part,, Comets latch I believe is the same that is body mounted part,, Lid mounted part is the same :Handshake
thanks, since I don't have anything to compare it too, I wasn't sure. I found a 74 and a 76 (I think) at this little old man's private "junk yard". He doesn't have a phone, and you just have to keep going out there to try to catch him home. He also has a nice late 60's F100 I'd like, but that's another project! Rhonda
