Where have you hid your antenna?

    Mine's zip tied up under the dash. I did a 67 Mustang convertible and I mounted it horizontally under the passenger fender, well above the tire.

    I removed mine from the fender and mounted on the rear Qaurter about mid way down trunk.

    Mine is still in the fender, but it's a retractable power antenna.

    These cars look so much better without the antenna showing...

    yea i am planning on having the hole patched and i want to put it somewhere unseen. Where would be the best place for the best reception?

    I put a power antenna in the right rear quarter. If you are looking for the best reception, the antenna needs to be mounted outside the car somewhere, particularily for AM reception. Anywhere inside the car will compromise reception somewhat, although something like this may be what you are looking for:

    I put mine in the trunk and the reception suffered - not that I expected anything different.... Anyway, I get zip for AM and an ok selection for FM. I think I am going to get a booster so the FM is better.

    I guess that's the price you pay for beauty.... :D :rolleyes:
