another 302 swap

well got an 84 302 complete minus carb and accessories ofcourse

it has headers off an 89...foroget what make he said...but i'm sure i'll have to swap these out for another pair...and swap the doublesump pan for a front sump oil pan?

i have a 250 with c4 which from what i was reading means everything should bolt up as along as i get the motormounts,frame mounts, crossmemeber and belly pan..

the thing i'm not totaly sure on is accessories and bracketry...will everything such as alternator/starter, ps lines..a/c lines match up or whats up?

well with some searcing i found most of my answers

302 MAVERICK motor mounts
302 frame mounts
V-8 Engine cross-member
Double hump transmission cross-member
V-8 Power steering bracket
Longer Power Steering Hoses
V-8 Alternator bracket
V-8 Pulleys -Power steering/crankshaft/fan/water pump
Front sump oil pan (Double or rear - sump pans won’t work without frame modifications) along with pickup tube
V-8 throttle cable (optional)
V-8 wiring harness ( or just build one)
V-8 kickdown linkage
looks like you need a v8 waterpump also

and as for headers i take it i need 6901 hooker headers with shift linkage modifications...or convert to floor shifter?
will a shorty header fix the linkage issue, ifso what brant/part # headers?

only thing i couldnt find was info about if the 250 a/c setup will work with the 302 or will i have to find a 302 a/c setup?

oh and to make sure...what about the flextplate...cant use the i6 one huh?
i got an 84 302 so will i need the 50z 302 flexplate?

 

cant use the i6 flexplate as the i6's are inturnally balanced...

im pretty sure your correct on the 50oz, but im not the man too ask on that, but i think it ws 82 and up was the 50oz... all my swaps have been older..

as for the disc setup give me a day or too notice at least.. i have the disc stuff at my house here while my car and bigger stuff is at my buddys place with the car.... im planing too stop there at somepoint this week i think i got the propvalve also
