Where do I?

    :biglaugh: No, that chain is NOT holding the motor in place. It's just keeping the oil stick from getting lost! (my little brother had lost one and Dad says that was the thing he had on hand for prevention of recurrence!)

    No, that didn't say 170 - it says 120 HP... The label on the side of the engine is an "Emissions Control Info" - made by Ford, and says "Engine size -200 CID". It's a Ford Maverick label - mentions that it follows 1970 Maverick rules on something Does that mean anything to you?? (I'm attaching a blurry photo of it) As far as we know, it's the original that came from/with that motor - but of course, someone could have told us a lie...

    Is there actually a VIN on this vehicle? There's a tag with a number on it that looks like what I think is a VIN tag on the dash...

    ya that number behind the windshield on the dash is the VIN


    oh, and ive seen some chains used in places where a replacment motor mount was necessary ;)
