The September/October issue of Legendary Ford Magazine has a very nice article on Comets (Say what? Aren't those Mercuries? :hmmm:).

Anyway the 1960 to 1967 are covered in depth with photos of each year and glowing descriptions. But - the 1971-'77 are given half a page with no photos and a downbeat description. Our (OK Your) Comets deserve better than that!

They have been an avid supporter of MCCI in the past. They featured a Grabber on the cover a couple of years ago.

I remember that. It was HotRodBob's. That's when I subscribed. So I was surprised at the attitude toward the 1971-77 Comets.

Maybe they will have a Maverick/Comet issue? The Jan/Feb(not 100% sure on the issue) editorial talked favorably about our cars.

The By Line says "Story and photography supplied by Donald Harding." So it is a contributed story, not one written by the staff. I guess Harding is a Falcon/Comet fan. Maybe one of our Comet owners could write and submit a better story about the 1971-77 Comets.
