Nice to hear from you, i just PMed you. Last year there was 3 Mavericks and 1 Comet (with crappy weather), in 2006 we had 7 cars if i recall correctly. Hope you can make it as it's a good show and yes rain or shine........ but we all know SHINE SHINE SHINE and no rain.
Huh? I missed this somehow..Welcome!!! Do you know where your car came from? Did the other owner have it long? I have pictures of one exactly like it from last year.
DanT how ya doin', i just PM you about the Summit Ford/ 3rd Maverick Comet mini meet. Sorry we missed you and Dale, not to sure what happened at the show (or no show). By all means feel free to PM me.
i had to get the used vehicle report (20$) when i registered the car last week.....the last owner (from barrie) only had it since the spring ....he bought it from some auction....before that it was owned by various dealers and the like back to mid 90's
There was a big Movie car auction, in October or September of last year, I have some pictures from it, there were 3 or 4, 4 door mavericks & Comets there, and there was another low mileage one at a auction here in London last summer, but I think it was blue. Was the guy in Barrie into Mavericks?
it might be that movie car auction youre talking about. i saw the pamphlet for it. not sure if the guy was into mavs specifically. seemed to know about cars though.
Hiya! Yeah... the simplicity is a major factor for me too... my daily driver has cost nothing in maintenance so far... so I've enjoyed blowing money and time just fixing it up a bit at a time and haven't looked back since. The colour on your car is quite stunning... any idea what the original colour code is? Whisky
