Wooo, thats cheap!! Around here it's about $1800 and for another $400 they will epoxy the shell for you.
Made sure they don't warp the roof!! I can't wait to see it.

Wow! Looks like a good starting point. Glad you decided to keep it the factory color. That is awesome. I've always liked that color. I'll be keeping an eye on this post for updates....

Nice ... I like the Stock color scheme. The only thing I would change is converting it to buckets and a floor shift ......

Don't listen to Craig. :naughty: Resto-mod is the only way go go!!!:bananaman:bananaman:bananaman

Looks like a nice start. Hope you don't find any ugly surprises like I did. I thought all early Grabbers came with dog dishes and trim rings? Those just don't look like they belong on a Grabber.

Wow! You guys aren't messing around. I too am very impressed with how solid the car is. I also agree with Dan. I think the car needs to stay stock with the exception of buckets and a floor shift. A bench seat just does absolutely nothing for me. You can always save the original seat and could be changed back if you really wanted to. Just my opinion of course. As stated above...build the car like your dad wants it! I commend you guys! Keep up the good work. :Handshake

Wow, you're already way ahead of me and I've had the Sprint for a couple of years. Guess I'd better get off the mountain and go home and start some work. :D

Well everthing is completely done except for the suspension. Hopefully I pick up the rotisserie in the next couple days so next week I can have it down to get media blasted.

I am still wanting to do what I originally planned and make the body original and give it a modern drivetrain. We were planning on putting buckets in the car with a floor shifter but am hesitant on what it would do to the value of the car (being one of seven). I don't even know if I should be worried about that number. Is the car really worth that much more because of it? If I install bucket seat and make it a floor shift doesn't that kind of throw the whole Paint/TRIM code deal out the window? It would be nice to run disk brakes and all that.

Everyone says to build the car like my dad wants it is tough when you can't talk to him about the car. I do know that my dad was never really into cars or modifying cars. He always believed that a car was made to go from point A to point B.

Sounds to me like he'd want to have the car petty stock. Do this one and if you like it too, build another the way you want it. As for the value, it's not going to diminish in value at all by changing it. These are not cars that people look for the numbers matching crap.:)
