First off i say i'm sorry. There was no way to bring my 69.5 back from the grave. Instead i'm going to frankenstein my car and would like you alls opinions and ideas. I have rough design in my head and it'll be starting soon. I'm taking my car and mounting it on a s10 chassis and making my own little monster truck, hence the name. So here's what we have s10 chassis with a 350 motor and transmission. We are going to put a lift kit on the to accomodate the 38 inch tires. Sadly we could not find the 4x4

4x4 chassis. Big bumper from the 74 donor. Would like to run a grabber good but beggars choosers ya know. Like i said everything is still rough draft as we begin to measure to lay the body on it's new chassis. I'll try to keep up to date with photos but cut me some slack if i stress enough and give up on pics for a while.

s-10's sem like they would be alot bigger then a maverick...

if i ever wanted to make one of these g-bodies a 4x4 i'd look for a s10 but for a maverick i think id hunf for something a little more compact

i wonder how far off a jeep wrangler frame would be? theyre not unibody tho are they?

Actually the s10 short bed is pretty close coming in at 108.3 inches on the wheel case versus the 103 inch wheel base we hold

Why not use a Ford Escape? It is 103.1 in wheelbase and was actually sold in Europe as a Maverick! I know its uni-body compared to the full frame on the S-10 but grafting the two would be very cool!

Go for it. Not sure I'm a fan of the car bodies sitting higher than normal. We have a guy around here that has a 34 ford truck that sits on a Dodge Dakota 4x4. Looks really neat. Your choice.:)
