Wow, I would have never guessed that car started out that rough!! Most of us GA guys have seen the car in person, and it is every bit as nice in real life as the after pics (if not nicer!).

I started work with the guy that drove it daily in 1988 until he parked it about 10 years ago, then I looked at it in the weeds about 2-3 years ago for $1000 and didnt buy it Another guy that is forman of our paint shop bought it and restored it and I thought I remembered it as being white Stripe and white interior until Arthur brought me the before pics of the car to give me. It took him about 6 months in his spare time to restore. I have owned the car close to a year now. Thanks for everyones compliments just wanted everyone to see the before pics of the car, I didnt buy it for $1000 because it was a bigger project than I could handle.

Your car looks awesome, not many would have the vision to bring it back from what it was (at least not their wifes!)

    I have a question:
What is your rear and front spoilers off of?? where did you get them?

You bought the car already restored, right? I remember seeing the car for sale and the owner saying he sold it to a friend. Or am I thinking of another car, hmm? I do recall the owner saying that the interior was white and he changed it to black in the ad.

At any rate the car is beautiful. I just wish my GT was half as nice.

Will talk to Arthur tomorrow and find out where he got them, Rear Spoiler is for a 1970 Mach 1, Chin spoiler not sure but will email you tomorrow.

Jim, probably is same car as he did sell it to a friend (me), we have worked together for 20 years now, 2nd car I have purchased from him. I am going to talk to Arthur tomorrow at work he is the one that restored it and to Harrison he had the car when I went to work there in 1988 and sold it to Arthur in 2006, for some reason I had it in my head the car was originally a white interior and I think that must be what Arthur had told me which may be what he got from the code because as you can see it is definitely black when he bought in in 2006. Will update you with the info when I see him tomorrow.

Yes they are the same wheels. Here are pics of them and of the car right before Arthur sold it to me.

Talked to guy that owned it throught the 80's (he still works where I do) and the original interior in the car was originally white and was white when he used to drive it to work, he bought a wrecked car in the early 90's and took the black interior from it and dyed the headliner black. He is going to look at his fathers house and try to find some pics of it from years ago. The other day while talking to Arthur he told me he had some before pics of the car if I was interested which of course I was (surprised I hadnt thought to ask him before). My friend that sold me the car is a chevy guy normally and said this was his last ford product as parts were hard to find and he didnt make any money on it.
