    I feel honored to join other Mav fans. My wife and I had our first date in a '71 Maverick that belonged to my older brother in 1973. She has encouraged me to find one, and I did last weekend, a '72 coupe. Has the original 250 and auto trans, and sure looks like the original interior that is close to BRAND NEW! Got some rust issues, but reported to be only 78k original miles, and looks like it. Got my winter project, I'll be calling on ya'll as the restoration rolls along.
