    thanks for the advices:thumbs2:
nope, no gallon of bondo, and as far as the motor:
it doesn't look fantastique from the outside, but it's actually the firstime that somebody tells me :"push it harder! don't be affraid!" , while trying the car with me.

he even drove the car with me on the passenger side (after i drove it myself) to show me what she could really do.
so to me he's not trying to cover any problems.

so i think i'm just gonna take it out, repaint it, and put it back in. :thumbs2:

as far as the blond girl in the background:
    leave my girlfriend alone!:D

    haha!
    i got it!:yahoo:
    finally!:bananaman

and i gave her a good first test:
driving back from Nebraska city to Omaha under a nice rain (60 miles)
and no problems except the RPM gauge which still lights up but don't tell me the RPM anymore... but i think it's jut unpluged...

    anyway: i'm really excited!
tomorow: junkyard to try to find the small bumpers and valances, and may be new racing seats!:bananaman

You don't like the LDO buckets? I think they look good with the cloth/vinyl combo. (y)

Is that one of those aftermarket spoilers like Autokrafters used to sell?

    newtoford: thanks!:thumbs2:

rando 76: well, yeah... they are confy... but i'm looking for something more "racing"
plus, the interior is gonna go all vinyl : white and blue.

72mavgrahber: i fund another one with already the small bumpers... but it was a 70, which means:
banch seat, straight 6 and drum brakes...
so that's why i prefere the one i took in Ne city:
302, disc brakes on the front, and bucket seats.:thumbs2:

I understand. If you were closer, I would be interested in those seats. :dancing: I have the same color interior in my '73.
Do you have any more pictures of that spoiler? It's hard to tell, but it looks like it has the bolt on trunk spoiler and quarter panel extensions to match - they used to be sold aftermarket. Ford never put a spoiler on the big bumper cars.

well, since the hood is a grabber hood and the car is not a grabber, i think one of the previous owners installed all of that at once.

and yes, i'll take more pictures of it :)
