    to my knowledge, there was never a passenger side mirror for our cars (besides the sport mirrors of course)

    Can't say that there never was one from the factory, but I have never seen one. A lot of cars didn't come with one back it the 70s, and there were plenty of aftermarket mirrors that looked pretty stock sold back then because of that.

    That Mav on craigslist looks like he probably bought his passenger side mirror from JC Whitney at the same time he bought that snappy hood ornament. :dancing: ;)

    I've got a set of mirrors that came off of my 84 F150 that look a lot like the Maverick drivers side mirror. If they didn't have one from the factory, I'd just about bet the dealer installed one like that was a close match if a customer requested it....

    Yep, the bottom one. It may not be exact, but it styled simular. I'll try to dig mine out tommorrow and take a pic of both of them. Going to use them on the Bubba's Dream 82 I'm building....

    Not a real good pic, it's raining right this minute....this is the passenger side compared to the Maverick drivers side....
