that sounds like a nice setup. i am running stock 4 dr. springs with air shocks and traction bars. c4, 3.00 rear gear.
i talked to m.a.v. today. he said 255 50 15x8s would be good. we also talked about brand name tires. some are better than others...frank...:bananaman :bananaman

i also run the m/t et streets with weld wheels (26X10.5X15). i think the quality of the tire leaves something to be desired. if i remember right 3 tire places said they couldn't be balanced. the one that did it had to put on something like 13 ounces on 1 and 11 1/2 on the other. anyone have anything on any other brands?:(

The reasons for my recommendations are ... Frank has a very mild engine combo, (approx. 9:1 comp. very light exhaust port clean up, 204/214 dur.@.050 with .448/.472 lift. performer intake,600 Holley carb, Stock converter and an open differential with 3.00 gears and slapper bars. In his case a short tire is needed to help out final drive ratio as much as possible ,but the width will help with traction .Wadaya Think ????;)

Air shocks and traction bars bad mix

need to let the rear come down the air shocks wont let it do that
mine is close to the other post summit 90/10's,
stock 250 6cyl front springs up front,
    lakewood real traction bars,
cheap stock repl rear shocks going to go to drag 50/50s later,
26x10.5 MT E/T streets on center line 15x8 rims and on the street
it comes very close to pulling the front wheels even have had some say it has

The 15x8's are what I'm gonna be runnin Frank with Cragar S/S's and a 4.5" backspace..it will stay that way for the street...I'm puttin air shocks on tomorrow but just enough to raise it to get it off my exhaust..the 9" pumpkin is hittin my exhaust when I hit a bump. I'm also welding in reinforcement plates at the top of the shock mount:)

I had 29 1/2 by 9 with 15x7 rim under mine when it was still leaf spring car. It had just a little rub on the driver side. I went to 28x9 on the same rims and fixed everything.
