    Good Idea!

I have some at home. First Comet project of the summer!

Disc brake setup is still in a 5 gallon bucket. :(

NOS positive transaction setup is still on the shelf. :(

part-times idea of the pins in the hood hinges to hold up the hood works great. it also makes it easier to work under the hood since i drilled extra holes to hold it all the way open. no more smashing my head on the hood latch.
sorry to hear about the damage. hope your painter can make it right. hagerty is excellent to work with too.

Sorry to hear about the damage on your car. That must of hert! At least repairs car be made by a person you can trust and it will be ok. When my first '74 Grabber was new, my girlfriend and I went to see "Live and Let Die" some one hit the drivers door. There was no one parked next to me and no note was left. This was a bad way to end a date! I paid for repairs myself. I couldn't believe someone could damage someone eles property and just ignore it. I'd like to believe they were treated the same.

These are the guys that no only painted my Grabber to begin with but they also rebuilt my nearly totaled Mustang ... they know I'm a stickler for perfection so I'm sure it will be good. While it's in there they are also going to fix a couple of other issues .. including a 3 inch scratch I put in the roof when I was installing the rear window chrome.

Plus I stop by and play horseshoes and drink Corona's with them all the time ... so they don't mind me being there ... :)

LOL ... we were actually playing some horseshoes tonight ... I found out I play better drinking ICEHOUSE ... when I switched to Corona I couldn't hit crap ...

He had about 5 or 6 Corona's in him when he made the deal so I have to credit the beer for that. He said he had a ton of collision work come in today so it work out better paying me $100 a day and put the Maverick on the back burner so he can get the easy money done. We'll see how it works out. The Grabber is currently cleaned up and in the paint booth ready to spray first thing tomorrow morning.

So how much of the car are they having to repaint? The whole thing? Just the hood and the tops of the front fenders? Etc?
