Keeping the stock orange. It grew on me. I like it because its almost a burnt orange. Alot more mellow than most oranges. 2 Stage base and clear with Dupont color matched paint. They didnt have the origional color code in their database so they sent a tech out to take samples to match.

Yes it is a cowl hood. Its the stock hood with a hole cut for the air cleaner. Then we put one of those Harwood 2" cowls from summit on it. Looks like it belongs on the car. Um precision plating in Tucson is doing the bumpers for me.

Let us know how the bumpers come out and what they charge? I'll be needing to get a couple of them done in a little while. I've also got a card from a shop in Phoenix that Mavdog71 gave to me.
I just ordered some parts from Don's Hot Rod Shop so I'll be down there in a few days.:)

Um he said $250 each but possibly cheaper when he sees them. Im waiting till i get my paycheck friday then i will take them down. Ill let you know then how much for sure then :D. Dons is ok but they tend to be a bit over priced if you dont know someone who will give you a break. They also have very few ford parts in stock :(. Not fun when they are the only shop in town!

I go to Jay Axtell there (Don's). Tell him I sent you if you ever go again. Have you been to Townsends. I used to use them when I circle track raced. Haven't been there in years. The thing I found was Don was there to help me at the track when I needed it. They are always willing to help you out.:)

Townsend's closed down. I heard they were moving across town but i haven't heard anything since they closed up. Had some really good closeout steals. One of my friends got an Edelbrock cam and heads for a 350 for less than $400. Im usually not in a hurry so i tend to use Jegs. Better customer service than summit and they deliver faster. They also carry the brands i prefer like Demon where as Summit doesnt : /.

I went by Townsends a few weeks ago and they had a sign saying they moved somewhere else. Thought it was on the west side of I10.:)
