He's a politician, did you really think that he would say something? They are safer letting other people do the talking...that way they can deny it all later. Ok, so I'm jaded.
Ok. I think I've got this figured out. This a play on words, so you kind of have to read between the lines here. McCain is being refered to as a maverick. If you look at it from the literal definition of what McCain is and what a maverick is, then he and all politicians have something in common with mavericks. How can that be? By it's literal, original definition a maverick is a wild, unbranded steer. Steers are bovines which include cows, calves and bulls. McCain is a professional politician. Almost 90% of what comes out of the north end of a politician is often referred to as the same thing that comes out of the south end of a bovine. The more a politician talks, the bigger the pile gets. The next time you hear a politician being called a ' maverick ', just remember what part of the maverick they are really talking about.
