Hey, did you forget I am in the SOUTH???? We don't use them there $10 words! But, yeah I guess you could call them a die-O-rama. And it seems different cars get different themes. The Mavericks appear to be in a HOt Rod or personal garage where as the Pinto is in a Tire Shop. The cars are wired into and through the bottom so you can take out the one that is in there and put in something else. These are about the coolest setup I hae ever seen. If I had my camera in front of me I would just upload some pics. Will try that tomorrow. They are in their own display case and now that I have taken one out of the box the case says My Garage for the Mavericks and Tire Store on the Pinto. I should have checked more carefully since there was a 3rd car available, looked like an Aspen woody wagon to see if the die-o-rama was different. I was so excited I didn't notice that the Pinto and Maverick were different until AFTER I got home. LOTS of detail stuff, My Garage includes cherry picker, drive ramps, air compressor, work bench with drill press, spare engine, roll-around tool chests, on of which has a pinup calendar on it, gas and oil signs, fire suit, etc. They are about 6 inches by 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches.

    Awesome!

What store did you find it at? I found one on ebay, but payday isn't until Friday. Crap. Hope no one snakes it out from under me.

Do a search on "diorama". I posted a website a while back where you can buy them direct. I bought 6 of them for like $7.00 each.

Did not realize that I did not put down the store name!!! Walmart.

    Sorry about that.

    Thanks for the link Ray!

The one in the above link is different than the ones I have. Mine say Moments in Time vice Weekend Mechanic.

So apparently I will have to have one of each!

Oh, on a side note, Walmart lists them for $8.97 each.

I went to a different Walmart tonight and got nothing. No cherries anywhere. Looked like they were changing the car aisle layout. I am going to, change that I have an extra Maverick one now. If I would have realized that there were at least 3 different diaramas, I would have bought the one with the Chrysler and just changed out the car, like I will most likely do with the one with the Pinto. That or buy another Pinto one to go along with these. I want to change the cars in all of them so they match and all are Mavericks. So if anyone wants my spare Maverick one, $8.97 + tax + shipping and it's all yours. So about $9.60 plus shipping, not trying make any money on this, just don't want to take it back to Wally world to trade it for a Chrysler, sounds kind of demeaning to a Maverick!

My wife picked up two yellow ones for me yesterday. I think I'll keep her around a while longer.
