What do ya'll think of the idea. Both RRS and Fatman have conversion kits available. It looks like they are using a stock replacement lower control arm as a mounting point for the 94-02 mustang spindle/brake asemblies and using a standard coilover conversion kit for the 79-93 struts. So... using our stock lower control arms, all we need are donor car parts (tie rods, struts, spindles, brakes) and an upper strut mounting plate. Does this sound too easy? http://www.fatmanfab.com/catalogpage.php?page=29
the 79 to current mustangs stearing is in front of the the spindels. the mav is behind. so i dont think it will work
fatman,i believe, use sn95 spindles, they modify the calipermount with the steering mount and cut off the front mount for the tierod
If sn95 spindles are from 94 - 02 mustangs then you are correct. In the advertisement it even refers to modifying the spindles to make them work. It says its a minimal mod.
yes,sn95 is the 94 and newer body style.i like the rrs stage 2 kit myself.there is a dealer in newyork.its a realy good web site.they have sent quotes and some promotional ads.too bad i don't have that much coin rite now
