    I'd go with the 3.55

3.55 is a little bit of the best of both worlds.:)

The "correct" answer to the multiple choice poll is ...

    D. All of the above. This was "poll" was all in fun anyway.

The 4.62s were fun and great for running at our local 1/8th mile dragstrip, and that is about all. Mileage was horrible, as was just cruising in the car.

Swapping to the 3.55s, I am going to bet that I am within a 2/10ths there and actually mph stronger. My main goal is to actually get out and drive the car on the street on a regular basis again. I am making the Comet a fun car again. ;)

Mine ran EXACTLY the same in the 1/8(4.62 vs 3.55).4.62's useless in a street car, probably ok behind a high strung race motor that lacks torque but likes to scream.FWIW All I had was a stock roller 302 w/a B303,headers/holley/duraspark.

I hear ya Mr. Comet...I am in the process of doing the same thing.
Had 4.56...then went to 4.11's.....now I have a set of 3.25's waiting to go in.
