Wow, what an ass. Here is what he said in responce to my email to him. I tried to make my email nice, and polite, but I got completely the opposite responce....

    My email:

"I just wanted to let you know that the Comet taillights are different than the Maverick. Your description implies that they are the same. The Comet ones are much different than the Maverick's and if you want the Comet taillights, buy a Comet - sure would be a lot better than cutting up and degrading a perfectly good Maverick to slap on some Comet lights.....Just thought you might want to know that the ad could be a little decieving for someone who doesn't know very much about the differences between them. Also, $70 seems a little high considering that I can get a set in great shape at the local wreckers for about $20 - tops. Thanks for your time!"

    His Reply:

"i dont recall asking for your 1 cents worth!! i highly doubt your gonna find a set of them lights for 20 bucks tops, just a sign of ignorance i guess, and anybody who has a maverick or a comet will probably know which lights they need dufice!! and your not welcome for wasting my time, go get a 2nd or maybe even 1st job, your pretty bored with your life obviously, lol."

What an a-hole.....man, I can think of plenty of things to say back to him (politely of course...), but I won't. I don't have time...searching for my 2nd job take time ya know... :)

    -Corbin

P.S. The comment I made about the taillights degrading a Maverick because they are Comet lights is false - I like Comets. I just wanted to see if he would respond to it.. Amazingly this jerk has 100% feedback... I guess no one has actually emailed him to talk.

I sent him a message also. I stated that I owned a Custom Auto Shop in Cincinnati Named Cincinnati Custom Cars, I told hom I owned 3 mavericks 2 comets a Mach 1 Mustang, and 68 Dan Gurney special Cougar. I also informed that I was a very talented Bodyman who could graft those in at a reasonable price for him.
    What a freakin loser...............

Darn! I have both Mav and Comet tail lights here. I've been missing out on a bloomin' gold mine!!! Let the bidding begin!!!

I couldn't insult any of you by trying what this "person" is doing. And to be ignorant when you try to help him out, to boot. After that response he sent you, Dan, I'd have told him where to go, how to get there, and what to do after he arrives. There was just no call for that. I had someone send me a correction on a set of Chevy (sorry, guys, but $$ is $$) wheel covers I had on eBay once and I was appreciative and told him so. I thought they were early Vette covers but they were sport covers for a '58 Impala. His info made them sell very well after I relisted them.

It sometimes amazes me how people are. My parts business is a real side business and I couldn't bring myself to be that way to anyone, from here or anywhere. Go figure.

What a stud. The guy can make brackets. He supposedly has a custom body shop and his claim to fame is making brackets. Beautiful.

Yeah Dan, all us members know that you can't have any idea's on makeing Comet REAR tail lights work in a Maverick and it seems that every Maverick owner here and everywhere else should replace thier UGLY tail lights.

Well Dan, I hate to be a smart ass but maybe you should take the dickhead's advise and not buy the REAR tail lights, besides you couldn't possible know what to do with them if you had them.

    ROTHLMAO

Thank you Dan, I've had a bad day and now you've put a smile on my face.

It takes all kinds to make the world go around.

As always just my .02 but I'm right about the dickhead part.
