This looks like a real sweety. Notice, reserve, seller is longtime member of ebay too. http://cgi.msn.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2460456182&category=6057
Just saw that one myself ... Now that one I believe is truly all original ... and a unique color combo as well ... Now as long as the auction turns out to be real I say $6700 takes it ... Now only if it had buckets and a 3-spd on the floor!
I'd just about be willing to bet this guy decided to sell his when he saw the price of the yellow one going sky high. It'll be interesting to see if the bidders of the other car gets in on this one...if they still exist.
I agree with rayzorsharp, it will be interesting to watch. Beautiful car and I would love to have it. No money! Hey Dan, bought any tail lights lately? LOL Terry
Well, I had contacted the seller a couple months ago, and I can tell you this it won't go or should I say it won't be sold for $6,700.00, It's a sharp car, but the seller wants too much for it, and some of the close up shots which are not shown on Ebay, show cracks and wear! The seller had it appraised and that what he thinks the selling price should command. The car although clean in my opinion, it would need to be repainted. I like the color combo! Very sharp, and in nice orginal condition. The seller was going to put it in Hemmings, but most not have had much luck there I guessing.
To tell you the truth me and my dad just fixed up chevs' and i was racing my dads 71 nova befor i wrecked it and he had his fathers GTO and we were racing here at are local strip and thats when i first saw my mav exactly one year latter its sitting in my driveway..and hopefuly one year from today it well be finished with what i want to do with it but not sell it but show it!! then fix back up the nova!!
Craig, after I posted earlier, I had to go back thru my old emails and see for sure what he was asking for it. The owner wanted $7,500.00. For some reason I thought it was more than that, but it may have been because once I had seen the other pictures I realized that even if it was in "nice orginal" condition it would still need to be repainted in my opinion which meant putting more $$$ into it. Personally I like the car, and I even thought about contacting the owner in Spring if he didn't sell it, to see if he would come down on the price. I like the color combination! You don't see many Grabbers today with that color. Who knows it may go for less, if the owner knows that the apprasial value it not always "market value".
green grabber wow that green maverick is in the next town over from me lol ive never seen it and i thought i knew evry muscle car around well if anyone decides to bid on it and wants me to go look at it id be happy to
