i think the best part of the show was the built 8", this rear axle always gets underrated on TV and in the magazines,i've seen guys around here swap 9's into 14 seconds cars just because they think they're 8's are too weak....BS
Thanks guys. It was alot of fun working on the phantom. The car turned out nice to say the least. I just got done doing one of the baddest cars of all time, a blown hemi powered '70 Cuda for speed/chop,cut,rebuild. Car is being built by PG customs. i work at san diego gear and axle. were at 1488 pioneer way, el cajon, ca. 92020. were just around the corner from autoworks.
ya mat found us when he needed the axle bearings pressed on at the last second on obsidian right befor they went to sema with that car.
