Glad to see you made it home Ok Don. seems some of us had a few small problems even me. Arrived home at 7pm on Monday nite. the A/C when south coming thru Chicago. at noon on Monday. The 12 volt fan seized up, so back to the old trusty --260 A/C.All in all a good trip for me, about 2300 miles total. Not bad for a PU with 180 thosand miles on it. did not burn a drop of oil either. Am looking forward to next year. TTFN RON
Now thats funny, did you ever notice whacko and Hawcko have the same letters just rearranged, so now we can call him Whacko Hawcko, its got a good ring to it
I'm sorry...did I make a typo??? I call him all kinds of things but Don hit a home run with that one. He'll never live it down.
Well I guess I missed that thread, but it fits him to a T, I suppose I am back on his ignore list again, that is if I ever got off of it.
Sounds good Don,,, I think. Why no full passes on track? Trailer tires were all replaced last year weren't they? $12 for a $200 tire, you gotta explain that one too!
Hawkco..The burgers were ready last Saturday. I called but you didn't come. Dave, Truck tire seperated on the way home. It was still under warranty. They replaced it and only charged me the mounting fee. Also, I just put the new engine in on Thursday night before I left. Didn't realize it before I got to the track but my Optima Batteries took a dump. Lost power right off the line, then picked up and ran fast through 1st and 2nd, then sputtered and I had to back off.
