I can't help it, there is alot of good information here. Plus, who wants to work in this heat.

I hardly ever get on here. I'd rather work in the heat. See, I'm sweating now! :whew:

I should be working on the car right now. Gotta get the new engine in today. Leaving for the Maverick Comet Group Gathering in Joplin on Sunday with the wife and Grandkids. :)

    See you there!

I can check the forums from work - so I guess I spend more time here. When I'm at home on evenings and weekends, I'm working on something! :D

I hardly ever have time to work on my cars. I'm too busy working on everyone else's cars. We were lucky just to find a few hours this past weekend to put new mufflers on our work truck.

    I'm guilty...
When I want to do something with a Maverick, it costs money.
I don't have any money, and this is free, so here I am.
    I haven't touched a Maverick for over a month!

I am in the garage all day,5 days a week.Granted none of the cars I work on,on a daily basis are mine... so yeah more time here than on the mav considering I only have weekends to play with it and sunday is spent with the family.Guess thats why a simple cosmetic restoration is going to take another year.LOL...

Always doin something on my car. This week was dismantle and put back together a double-pumper carb with the proper ford kickdown linkage. Holly said they dont make a linkage conversion kit for a 600 or any double pumper carb. To have kickdown you need the extended piece for the rod that goes to the tranny but you also need the ford linkage that sit beside the throttle linkage. Well a little ingenuity and walla. I have a proper kickdown linkage for a ford and made with HOLLY parts. Go figure. Took me about 1-1 1/2 hrs to do the conversion as I'm slow when it comes to carbs. I'm not the brightest bulb when we talk carbs.2 weeks ago was a oil/filter change and now using royal purple 10w30. I have been using royal purple for 3 yrs and just love it in the motor and rear-end.there is always something weather its hot or freezing out. TTFN RON:D
