    Attended a local car show today. While driving there, car was vibrating bad above 35 mph. After registering, crawled underneath and one of my bearings from the rear u-joint had come off. Lucky for me a friend of mine had shown and went and picked one up for me :bowdown:. Glad I had my tool bag with me. Oh, and no awards for me. The only other vehicle there resembling a Mav was a 65 comet.

    At least it was the rear u-joint, nuthin' like doing the eighth mile pole vault at 50 mph!

    No joking, glad you found the problem before you did more damage. I lost a driveline once and if I hadn't moved my elbow 2 seconds before, I woulda lost my arm. So, Preventative Maintenance is a good thing. Not to harp, I'm Guilty of not doing it to.
