    well i am stairing at a 68 mustang 8" rear end 5 bolt . i want to know for sure if it is the same as a 70 mav rear end and can it bolt up derectly?
    eny instant info will help! i only have a 1/2 hour tell it will be scraped!

    I'm NOT SURE but I think it is a little wider than the Maverick's...

    Dont let it scrap,,, always turn it around! How much?? Man I wouldn't let it scrap,,, sorry I dont know if direct fit

    69 1/2, 70 Maverick and 71 Grabber
    Just under 3 inches wider than the Maverick rear but will bolt in with the right offset wheels. If the price is right still worth getting. What ratio is it?

    Are you sure it is NOT a 9"?

    The bottom bolt will be hard to get to with a socket if 9"...

    It will bolt right in.
    It is same-same except for overall width.

    if it was an 8 inch and out of a 70 stang. The overall width is wider than a MAverick but on the +++++ side there might be the posibility that it could maybe already be posi tractions (limited slip) in which case the center chunk would be nice to pull out and put in a Maverick
