Found some bucket seats and five bolt axle and spindles and other parts for 350 bucks.

My son and I are kind of doing a GT clone ourselves. Scoop, aftermarket buckets, maybe? converting steering column auto to floor shift, and a Firebird rear spoiler "Gasp!" (I really think it follows the body lines well and looks good on it) and of course the stripes. it's a 74 and I like the later stripes better anyway. I've already converted the drums to front disks and cut either 1/2 or 3/4 coil to lower the front and we have done a front bumper slide....still doing the body work.....

    Best of luck with yours!

grabbers, GT's ect could all be ordered with any engine the base model mavericks and comets could be ordered with for that year. i remember a few people on here with 200ci GT's. i dont see any reason there couldnt bew 170 GT's as well. aparently the 6cyl GT's are alot rarer then 6cyl grabbers

I've had to much fun with this car. I know its been asked 100000000 times, but what black do I use for the tail panel? I remember it's somewhere on here, was it flat black enamel or something like that.

See pics linked from my info on left 8 images. Looks like 82-92 firebird spoiler. Some have brake lights as well. eBay Motors: 82 - 92 Firebird Trans Am Rear Hatch Mounted Spoiler (item 180254076817 end time Jun-21-08 16:45:00 PDT) I got the idea (well ok stole it) from a post on these boards and they were right it matches the body lines really well and sits lower then the Mustang spoilers. I'll post that link as soon as I find it. It had a pic on a mav or Comet.
