Its in the garage and will be stripped this weekend. Its a 200 / 3 speed with factory air. Let me know if you need something. I'll even sell the black snake I got out of the trunk. Hope there's no more under the dash.
I could use the black snake. There's too many critters living in the shed where I keep one of our Mavericks.
Every home should have a resident black snake under the crawl space and around the out/storage/barn buildings. You won't have a rat problem and they are not as bothersome and troublesome as cats. Can you tell that Jean and I grew-up in the country?
Good old country living is good for you. Our house cats make sure no self respecting mouse dares try to live in our house. I'd rather have a dozen big black snakes on the property than a bunch of feral cats. I love my indoor cats, but those wild ones need to go elsewhere. Sadly we have no black snakes. I guess one day I'll have to go up on the mountain across the river and bring a few home with me. Now then, a question about the 3-speed. Is it a column mount or a floor shift?
I would love to convert my 72 6 cyl over to a 3 speed column shift. Is everything there to get the job done?
Oh yeah and I will also take the Black Snake. I love them stupid things and the one that was living in my shed disapeared and the mice have been having a field day with the goat food and hay and anything else they desice to get into
Man - you are destroying a car that could be worth over $10000! That according to the Old Car Price Guide. The 70 is worth $2000 -$3000 more than any other years.
It's been discussed a few times on here about how those price guide books are full of crap when it comes to our cars. Why would the '70 be worth more, when they built more 70's then any other year? I'm sure Dennis wouldn't be stripping it if it was a restoreable car. Could be worth 10 grand, but what if it takes 20 grand to get it there...
Sounds like I need to go catch more black snakes, it would be more profitable than Mavericks. PM sent Dennis, give me a call today on the 3 speed stuff.
I got a free black snake with my green Comet GT. My wife would not let me park it in the basement until I got rid of the snake. I got rid of it with out harming the snake. I told my wife you cant live in the country with out snakes and mice and other critters.
Jamie, The old car price guide is taken from auction and sale prices across the country. It was right on what the appraiser said mine was worth for my insurance company. (their appraiser - not mine)
