and the last of the pictures.

This car is my senior project, i plan to fix the rust hole by cutting and welding and either bondo or fiberglass, i have no made my mind up yet. the engine is the stock 302 with 120,000, i dont have any pictures of the engine because i could not get the hood open. but i plan paint it silver with black racing stripes. with black interior. it will be a long project and i am sure i will be asking you many questions.

Looks like you got your work cut out for you. I always loved that White/Orange color scheme. Good luck with the project.

I would seriously suggest looking at the frame and torque boxes before you invest a bunch of money in that car. As rusty as the outside sheet metal is....I suspect the structural areas of the car are just as bad.

yeah, when i get it home i am going to take it to my friend Billy's shop and we are going to check it out there, and if the frame is in bad shape i am just going to put it on ebay and look fora 1970 Ford Torino.

    Thanks for the advice

it should be right out lol. but i was going to ask you guys your opinion. I am torn between leaving with the orange and white colour scheme, or to paint it a dark silver with 2 black racing stripes. any insight would be great.

    Thanks
    Jake

When you get done with the body work, I would paint it any way you want.

i like the orande and white myself, but with a body like that im sure your going to have plenty of time to worry about what color you want. i'd get it up out of the dirt while theres still something left.

well, we just moved it there last month, it started right up and it has been sitting since 76 i think it what my stepdad said, so really for the amount of rust on it is not to bad, it was parked in a lean to, but like someone said earlier the frame might not be so hot, we are going to put it on a car lift and poke at it with screwdrivers is what he said to do to check it, so if you guys have any other better methods i am open to them.

    Thanks
    Jake
