I want to do exhaust on my 170 CID Comet. I plan on buying a header in the future. I am planning on putting 2 1/4 pipe. But I want to know if I should go with a glass pack muffler or a turbo muffler, any help would be great.

i like the disturbing the peace sound of glasspacks but you cant go wrong with the turbos either

In my opinion a 6 cylinder sounds much better through a turbo muffler than a glasspack. Thats just an opinion though.

Going with the Flowmaster, now. 2.5 inch or 2.25 inch tube. I'm going fresh from the manifold.

i would do 2" to the muffler then 2 1/4-2 1.5 out....*also you might want to get a dual outlet muffler...if your on a budget get one at the junkyard off of late model trucks they have a ton of them, and you can get them for $20 or less(y)
