I am hoping to get my car finished some time in May and I want to get it dynoed so I am not just pulling numbers out of my a$$. I am in northwest MO. so Des Moine or Kansas City would be my best bet. Anyone know of a good shop and about how much it would cost to have it done. The motor will be in the car and driven to the dyno. Suggestions please!

Well there is MC racing here in Kansas City. Its 50 bucks for for 2 pulls I think. Shoot me a pm sometime if you are interested and I'll meet you down there or give you directions or whatever...How far NW are you? I come up to Marryville all the time for work...later

That would be great to meet up with both of you in KC. $50 seems like a good price...I wonder if they will let you tune in between.

I am near Bethany, about 85 miles north of KC. There are tons of Mavs up here for parts.

Robert....gonna dyno your car in May?? :D

(I hope I can get her done by then myself..)

Yeah the yould let you tune a little bit while its cooling between runs...I think the hourly rate is like 100 bucks for 1 hour so that might be more what you are looking for..just keep us informed of when you want to do it...

I still haven't had anyone else say they are in Oregon. So I guess I am on my own out here in the far northwest. I guess that also means that I am on my own when looking for parts and decent shops to get paint jobs and dyno tests.

Starting to feel a little lonesome Way out here in OR.

Just a thought..Our local "Dyno" shop will do a DYNO DAY if you line up several cars! The price is less and it is ALWAYS more fun to hear your horsepower is MUCH less than you think when your friends are around the hear it also! LOL Scotty P:cry:

Yep, needs friends along to keep you honest. You can always lie about what the HP would be if it were taken at the flywheel.

    hey new2maverick-

    Don't feel too bad.
I'm up here in Bellingham, WA
There are a few people in the southern part of WA that you might not be too far from.

Sure we care...just a little to far away to give a sh%@ !!! IM KIDDING!! Actually, I wont be all that far from where you are this summer. I will be in Boise with a short trip over to Baker. Hopefully it will be in the Mav. I cant believe there arent more mav people on here from Oregon. Good luck in the search.

Well thanks for caring even if you don't give a load. :)

I think the reason that there aren't many more Mavericks in this area might have something do do with the fact that most of the sunshine we get is if the liquid type. Meaning ofcourse that it rains more than the sun shines around here and that tends to make people hide their nice cars in the garage or barn and let things like their old mavs sit out in the hay field and turn into over sized planter beds.

Oh well maybe I will start a Maverick Movement out here in the NW.

Is there an MCCI chapter up there? You should start one if there isnt. I bet you would start adding more people all the time. I think mavericks are becoming more popular all the time. Good luck.
