v8 frame mounts

    im sure this was asked before but which way do the v8 frame mounts go? they have a almost flat side and a offset side. does the offset side go to the front or back? and does the tab go to the top or bottom? any help would be great. thanks

    And if you look closely at them there should be an R on the right and a L on the left.

    right is passenger left is driver?

    im in the process of trying to get these on right now. theres this tab on the shock tower that seems to be in the way

    yea idk what it is. it looks like it'll twist right off and the new mounts will fall right in place? i thought the tab was supposed to fit into the offset side of the mount but i couldnt get it to work

    Still looking for an answer

    I must have missed it, but I never really saw an answer. :cry:Does the offset side of the frame mount face to the front of the car or to the rear? And yes, I did not look before I took them off. :mad:And in all the searching of the board I never found where it made it clear......:rofl:

    Columbus Comet has it right here. Could you put the frame mount on the frame and slide it up over the tab? This would seem like a simple way to make sure they were on correctly.
