I know the Torino mirrors are different from the Mustang, but I was wondering if the Mav/Com were the same as the Mustang?

Nope, they all have different bases. You can always tell when a car has the wrong sprot mirrors b/c they sit at a funny angle.

    Hey black 396,
Yes,Mach 1 mirrors are the same as mav/com's.
there is 3 different types or should i say angles
The Mach-mav-com all the same have the most angle.
    the torino has less angle.
I can't think of the other one right now. sorry hope this helps!!

What mach 1 are you talking about? There were Mach 1's on 3 different body styles, and the Maverick bases are stamped D0Dz (or D1Dz) and the Mustangs are all zz that I've seen...

    yo charlie,
I got my sport mirrors off a guy that deals in old mustang stuff.
He pulled one out of a bucket and said this won't work its torino.
He pulled another out and said this is one from a mach 1 it will work. The third one out of the bucket was wrong, but I forget what it was for. Well I went out to my driveway, pulled off the pass side mirror and the number for the mach 1 mirrors I got on my 1972 maverick is DODB I did'nt write down the rest If you need it let me know I will go take it back off.
P.S. I got one off a mav in the yard yesterday and the # is
    DODB also go figure!!!!!!!!
