    Hi all !

I think this is my first post or something, but im been reading this forum since several months ago, im from Venezuela and my english is not very good.

Well, im having some temps problems with my mav, and since i did the engine and the tranny a few months ago, i though it could be the fan, so i bought a flex a lite fan from summit (using a friend`s address and paying a lot of shipping from the shop to my friend`s house on miami, and from miami to Venezuela), anyway, the fan is here finally after 25 days, and i just found out this thing about standard rotation and reverse rotation, i guessed it was a very simple deal, buy a new one and put it on, but my actual fan looks like a reverse one, and i bought according to summit website a fan for a ford maverick 1977 6cil. 4.1lt car, but this one says standard rotation, which one is wrong ? the current fan or the new one ? thanks in advance for any help !!

Bolt it on and run it. If it pulls air thru the radiator toward the engine, it's a std rotation fan. If it pushes air out the front it's not.

If the new fan says standard rotation it should be the right one. Are you running a fan shroud? This will make a big difference in cooling your car. :)

easy to tell any reverse rotation pump because it runs off the back of the belt. Only serp belts do this.

Email him as a gift? Not sure what you mean there bud, but I ain't afraid of idiots like him. Bullies are bullies, they always back off when confronted, or they get someone else to fight their battles for them, for they don't have the cahones to fight their own battles.;) Just holler if you need help with a spacer.
