Heres the best pic of the trunk weatherstripping i got! the holes are 4
4 1/2 inches apart....not too sure its even usable ....it has bad creases in for sitting in a bag so long...anybody have an idea how to salvage it....and get out the creases?(y) bad pic but holes are lined up perfectly

You can try sun soaking it and re-shaping it.

Creases?? I wouldn't use that on your car, just send it to me and I'll take care of those creases... :D

Honestly, maybe just letting it sit in the sun might work??

Even the repops crease after sitting in the packaged. Hang it in your garage for a couple of weeks ...

Sun soaking is letting it sit in the sun, get warm and hopefully uncrease.

Sometimes ... NOS is not better than reproduction ... this includes vinyl stripes, tires, hoses ... and apparently weatherstripping? :) ...

Hi all. Mav, are you trying to tell us that Maverick trunks leak? Must be some other make car. I have only seen four leak, and they were all mine. Ha ha.

Mav, I am with Dan on hanging it for a couple of weeks, and in a warm place. I think that would make it straighter and uncrease better.

You might even hang a little weight on it while it is hanging. Not real heavy as to stretch it, but heavy enough to put a slight pull on it.
