Fox Body Drive shaft

    I've got a similar issue, I have a T-5 and the drive shaft out of the mustang doner car. Will just swapping the u-joints make this work? As in no shortening or anything like that

    edit: i re-read the opening posts and this answered my question thanks guys

    factory from a 5speed fox, the rear u-joint is the only mod, it is 3 5/8 x 3 1/4. i just did this today..so i will bet u money on this one. incudling the u-joint size:D

    do you have a part number on the joint you used and brand?

    pdq from autozone. the box says a few numbers but it is printed out as the following; 1-0134
    BO1-01


    DUDE! i went in there, was like.. need a u-joint 3 5/8 x 3 1/4, the manager, with a store full of customers, looked at me like. ?! i know he didnt pull this ccrap today!! bu after a literal hour of searching in a book..that is what we ended up with. hope it helps. if its not the correct p/n#, i'll get out the reciept, and c if there is a different one on there. good luck!:drive:

    I Have a T-5 in mine and a 9" rear and all I needed was the U joint. Fox shaft was a dead on fit. a lot beefier too.
