hello i have a 71 mav that's been restored at this moment, hopefully i will have it done by the end of the year. it's very peculiar mav since it came with factory installed scoop, hood tach, and american racing antimony (?) wheels. hope i can post pictures of the progress! yours truly!

it could be one of them shelby mavericks It does have the same hood scoop and hood tack and the shelby rims like the famous shelby pic with the hot girl in front of it from the mexico trade show ,hmmmmm ,could it be?
thanks to everyone, it's great to have this feeling of belonging, mavericks have been overlooked and despised by most people, and it's fantastic to talk to people who don't ask "why a maverick and not a mustang or a camaro?" but say "nice looking car".
I hear ya. I used to get the "WHY" a lot a while back but no longer. Now I get more "WOW, I never knew a Maverick could look like that!"
