clutch linkage

    My clutch linkage broke the bolt that holds it together broke. i am trying to get the side off that has the threaded part in it . How do i get it off. please help i got a picture of my problem!

    In the picture below ... see the hole with the red around it? There is one on the other side as well. See the retainer with the green circle around it? That was in the hole with the red circle. On the other side the retainer is in the hole also. Remove the retainer completely and the z-bar will slide off the engine side mount .....

    ok i got the pin out. There dosn't seem to be enough room to actually slide it off. Any suggestions?

    Yes it is tight and will be a pain in the butt ... Disconnect the upper half from the upper clutch pedal rod and disconnect the bottom half from the clutch fork so you can wiggle the pieces around and try to get some clearance ...

    YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!:bananaman Ok, i got it off and now i notice the little plastic bushing is broke in two. Is that something that can be bought easily? and also I don't have the sheared off bolt is it just a standard bolt? Again i want to say thanks for all your help!

    The bushing is supposed to be in two-halves ... :) It's just a standard Grade 8 bolt ...
