Well, ive been thinking about what to do with my air shocks on the back of my car and have figured it out. I have found a pump from the "Air Lift Company" and am going to try and hook it to my air shocks. it will give me an adjustment of ride height of about 1 1/2 to 2 inches I believe.

I had one of those back in the early 70's. The control panel looks about the same. I'll have to dig out a picture.

I wouldnt do the air shock thing unless you beef up the mounts under the car. I spent a couple of hours repairing the rear shock mounts because the previous owner ran air shocks. Ripped the mount loose and cracks all over.....

Actually, I wouldnt do the air shocks at all.

Well, I wouldnt have either, but the previous owner has had them on there for a while, so i thought i would make them useful.

1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
Take his advise, I had mine on for four years before taking his advise I got off this board. Found out my mounts were all messed up. Thom
