heres the new engine its a rebuilt roller 302 with 10:1 compression, .040'' bore, forged internals, ford racing E cam, reworked GT40 heads. "honey comb" valve springs, and an aluminum water pump. need to pick out a carb and intake tho. has the wrong pan too. so i have a 2nd fox body pan that needs a new home... im thinking i might like it a little more in ford blue but that'll be a bridge i'll cross later. not like its gonna make it any faster lol BTW, will the flywheel off my '77 mav 302 work on this motor?
if anyone can transulate these numbers i'd apperciate it anyone have any opinions on a carb and intake?
Performer RPM and a 600 or 625 cfm carb will be good for the street. You gonna run headers too??You could go with a wieand stealth intake too.

Looking good. I don't think the flywheel will work because the embalance on the early engines is different that the later model. I believe 82 and up 302s used 50oz vs 28 oz on the early ones. The 351's are all 28. - Don't shoot but believe I got the numbers right. - Matt
