Hose Help 101

I am putting in the re-built motor this weekend/next weekend. I need some help with the heater hoses. I took a ton of pictures after I pulled the motor. Should have took some before. A few good pictures would help if you have some. I have a 1972/302.

The upper and lower radiator are easy. Rest I need help on:

Where do the hoses (2) go from the heater control valve (rear passenger side engine compartment just below hood)?

Where do the 2 hoses go from the heater holes in the fire wall?

Where do the water pump hoses go?

A few good pics would be awesome.

Lower hose goes to the engine and the upper hose goes to the pump.

 

Does you car have factory AC?

 

Doesn't matter which heater hose goes where, it'll work the same either way. Just install and route them where they're the best fit for you.

If you dont have air, you should not have a control valve.

 

Agreed.....if you no longer have AC....you don't need the valve.

 

Do I need the vacum can under the heater control valve if I no longer have A/C?

 

thats not a... vacumn can ...not stock.

If your car was factory air, which it sounds like it was, you will still need the vacuum canister. All your dash controls are controlled by vacuum motors.
